Elizabeth Warren Withdraws From 2020 Presidential Election
Elizabeth Warren is officially withdrawing from the 2020 democratic presidential election. Warren didn’t win a single state on Super Tuesday, not even her home state. But despite this embarrassing loss, she said she was still committed to pushing forward because she believed she was best suited for the presidency over the likes of former Vice President Joe Biden or Senator Bernie Sanders. Then Mike Bloomberg, who claimed a single victory in American Samoa, withdrew from the race and endorsed Biden for president. People began calling for Warren to drop out and support her fellow progressive, Sanders, arguing the longer she stayed in the worse it could be for democrats. Many fear a repeat of the extremely split 2016 democratic party. In light of all this, Warren has ended her bid for president. It’s unclear who she’s choosing to endorse at this time.
