Presidential Candidates Prepare For Super Tuesday

Following his major South Carolina victory, Joe Biden reported his campaign raised upwards of $5 million dollars in just 24 hours. According to an official, it is the largest amount of money raised online in a single-day in this election so far. This brings the total amount of funds raised last month for Biden’s campaign to about $17 million dollars. Despite their losses in South Carolina, candidates such as Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren also reported major spikes in the their campaign fund raisers in February. Warren confirmed she raised over $29 million, while Sanders’ campaign hauled in more than $46.5 million last month. Now all the candidates are turning their attention to Texas as they gear up for Super Tuesday. Early numbers have revealed that at least 100,000 more people will show up to cast their votes this year than in 2016. Warren has predicted going forward, the race will become even more “unsettled” and unpredictable.
