First Responders Allegedly Took Personal Photos of Kobe Bryant Crash Site
Vanessa Bryant is “devastated” by allegations that first responders took photos of the crash site where her husband, daughter, and seven others died. The day of the crash, Mrs. Bryant personally went to the sheriff’s office and asked the site be protected from photographers. She said she wanted “to protect the dignity of all the victims and their families.” It’s believed phones from the first responders were confiscated and photos deleted off some of them already. The extent to which the photos were shared is currently unknown but we do know that nothing was spread online yet. Mrs. Bryant has referred to the incident as “inexcusable and deplorable” and an “unspeakable violation of human decency, respect, and privacy.” She is demanding a full internal affairs investigation into the allegations. She is also demanding that the offenders be held publicly responsible and face the harshest possible discipline.
