Entire Cayce Community Comes Together to Honor Faye Swetlik’s Memory

The entire community of Cayce is coming together in wake of the recent death of six-year-old Faye Swetlik. First, a public memorial service for Faye will be held at Trinity Baptist Church’s worship center tomorrow starting at 6 P.M. Faye’s family has asked everyone to wear bright colors, especially pink and purple, in order to honor Faye’s colorful spirit. The Art Smart Academy in Irmo also plans to host a free event to help keep Faye’s memory alive worldwide. It will take place over the course of several days, starting tomorrow and ending this Sunday. They’re asking for people to collect and paint found river rocks. The rocks will then be placed throughout participants communities for others to find. It’s being called #RocksForFaye.
