Body of Missing College Student in Georgia Found

The body of a missing Fort Valley State University student in Georgia has been found. 23-year-old Anitra Gunn was last seen on Valentine’s day. Her family alerted authorities to her disappearance on Saturday after they hadn’t heard form her. Police located her car near her apartment that day and noticed it had a torn bumper. Gunn’s body was found two nights ago near the Peach and Crawford county line. Her car bumper was also found close to her body. It’s reported the crime scene looked as if someone had tried to hide the body with leaves and branches. 23-year-old DeMarcus Little, Gunn’s boyfriend, was arrested and charged for criminal damage to property belonging to Gunn concerning an incident that happened earlier this month. According to police, “her apartment windows were smashed and her vehicle tires slashed”. Additional charges may be added, however it’s unclear at this time if Little is responsible for Gunn’s death.
