Six-Year-Old Faye Swetlik’s Autopsy Results to be Released Tomorrow
Autopsy results for six-year-old Faye Swetlik of Cayce are scheduled to be released tomorrow. Faye’s body was discovered in a wooded area near her home late last week, just four days after she went missing. It’s still unclear what the cause of death is or the state she was found in but it’s being investigated as a homicide. Within minutes, 30-year-old Coty Taylor’s body was also found in his home, about 150 feet away from Faye’s house. Taylor has no previous criminal record but it’s believe the two cases are connected as some of Faye’s belongings were discovered in his trash. Faye’s body was given a police escort to a funeral home following her autopsy. Results have been delayed until tomorrow out of respect for the her family. The local Cayce community has deeply grieved the loss of Faye’s life. A candle vigil was held in her neighborhood yesterday evening. Upcoming funeral details are currently unknown.
