Man Arrested, Charged for Attempted Murder in Darlington

A suspect has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Darlington. Police responded to shots fired on Tedder street and Pearl street late Saturday night. A victim was found alive but had sustained gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital where he is currently in stable condition. 28-year-old Deshawn Goins was arrested and charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and 3rd degree assault and battery. Goins remains in custody.
