Man Falls Into River

Last week we told you about an artist who created a fake traffic jam on Google Maps by pulling 99 smartphones down a street in a little red wagon.. If that wasn’t a reason not to trust Google Maps we’re sure this is! A man fell into the Mississippi River after falling through the ice while attempting to find his way back to his hotel. He told the rescue crew that his Google Maps directed him to cross the river. A spokesman for the fire department thinks the man misinterpreted the directions and should have crossed the bridge instead.
