Democratic Candidates Look Forward to New Hampshire Primaries
The Iowa caucus has declared an official winner as democratic candidates prepare for the primary in New Hampshire tomorrow. The Iowa democratic party hailed former mayor Pete Buttigieg the official winner after he secured the most delegates. They also confirmed Senator Bernie Sanders took second place despite the fact he had more popular votes. Sanders trailed behind Buttigieg in the delegate equivalent count by only 1/10 of a percent and left voters very confused after both candidates publicly declared victory. However, all agree they want to leave the confusion of the caucus behind and are looking forward to New Hampshire. A second release from a tracking poll conducted by the University of New Hampshire predicts Sanders will win with 28% of support over Buttigieg’s 21%.
