Man Charged with Murdering Wife Commits Suicide
A Connecticut man charged with murdering his wife has died following a suicide attempt. 52-year-old Fotis Dulos was charged with murder in the disappearance of his wife Jennifer. A judge ordered him to strict house confinement after he posted his $6 million dollars in bail using properties he owned as collateral. Then two days ago, Dulos attempted suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning. He was discovered unresponsive in his garage by police after he missed a court hearing and was rushed to a hospital. He remained in critical condition and eventually died from his attempt yesterday. Dulos was charged with felony murder, murder and kidnapping. His girlfriend and a local lawyer were also charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Fotis and Jennifer had five children together ranging in ages 8 to 13 who are currently living with their maternal grandmother.
