N.C. Father Kills Children and Wife Before Turning Gun on Himself

A North Carolina man killed his wife and three young children before taking his own life. The entire craven county is in shock and mourning following the announcement that 39-year-old Michael Ireland shot his 26-year-old wife April and their three children, ranging in ages from eight-months to four-years-old. Ireland also killed their dog before turning the gun on himself. Police were performing a welfare check when they found the bodies after they received a call from a family member who said they had not heard from them since last Wednesday. Investigators are saying it’s one of the most horrific cases they’ve ever worked on.
