Hit and Run Committed by Habitual Offender
A North Myrtle Beach woman has been arrested for a hit and run she caused along highway 31. Police responded to an accident where a pick-up truck hit a jeep after an unlawful lane change, causing the jeep to flip multiple times, then fled the scene. Police later found the truck abandoned on an interchange ramp and very soon after, 50-year-old Debra Lindner was turned in by her boyfriend. It was determined Lindner had a suspended license and was a habitual offender. She was arrested and charged with several traffic violations, including hit-and-run, but released on bond yesterday.
