Vice President Mike Pence to Visit South Carolina

Vice President Mike Pence will visit South Carolina to attend the 9th annual Patriot Dinner in Charleston. The vice president is expected to serve as a guest speaker to the 2020 Patriot Dinner as well as be honored with an award. The annual event supports cadets of the Citadel Republican Society and their trips to the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C. the Nathan Hale Patriot award Pence will receive is given to a different national, state or local official each year who they believe embodies the selfless leadership of Nathan Hale. They also give out two scholarship awards. This year’s event will take place at the Holiday Alumni Center on February 13th between 4 and 8 p.m. Ticket prices range from $250 to $20,000. Pence is also expected to visit West Columbia for a fundraiser that same day.
