Two More Inmates Killed in Mississippi Prison Riots

Two more Mississippi inmates have died following a series of prison riots throughout the state. It’s reported Timothy Hudspeth, 35, and James Talley, 36, died as the result of a prison fight with several others at the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman. This also happens to be the same prison where four other inmates died and an undisclosed number were injured over the last month. Not to mention one more who committed suicide over the weekend and another prison where a riot resulted in a death as well. The incident is currently reported to be isolated from the others. However, more than two dozen inmates have sued the state for understaffed prisons with decrepit and dangerous living conditions that foster a violent atmosphere.
