Ten Injured in North Carolina School Bus Crash

Ten people were injured after an 18-wheeler crashed into a school bus in Columbus County, North Carolina yesterday morning. Of the ten injured, eight children were hospitalized with two in serious condition. Two adults were also injured including the driver of the bus. It’s reported the driver of the tractor trailer reached down to pick up a cigarette and realized too late the bus was stopped to pick up a student. He swerved to avoid the bus but hit it anyways. A Fed-Ex truck behind the trailer also hit the bus. The bus rolled over three times as a result of the crash. The drivers of the trailer and fed-ex truck were unharmed.
