Father, Daughter Killed in Apparent Hunting Accident Update

Following up on a story we brought you yesterday, police have determined the circumstances surrounding the deaths of a father and daughter after a hunting accident this week. 30-year-old Kim Drawdy and his 9-year-old daughter, Lauren, were killed while hunting near their home in Walterboro. The Colleton County Coroner has not yet released the cause of their deaths but according to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, Kim and his daughter were mistaken for deer and shot by four other hunters who were out at the same time. The SCDNR is still investigating the shooting.
