Exercise is Being Linked to Reducing the Risk of Cancer
A study conducted by the American Cancer Society, National Cancer Institute and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health found that exercising is linked to reducing the risk of many types of cancers. Including: colon, breast, kidney, and liver cancer as well as Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and endometrial cancer. During nine different surveys, more than 750,000 adults were monitored. Healthy adults are encouraged to engage in 2.5 to 5 hours of ‘moderate-intensity activity’ a week. 2.5 hours of vigorous activity like jogging, running, swimming laps, jump rope or hiking are also recommended.
