Explosion in Philadelphia Kills At Least Two

At least two people are presumed dead after a violent house explosion leveled three homes and seriously damaged several others. The explosion occurred at South 8th and South Franklin streets in Philadelphia. Nearly 60 people from the area have been evacuated and accounted. The subsequent fires caused by the explosion have been contained. But police said they wouldn’t be surprised if additional passerby were still currently trapped under the rubble and are confident two missing people are dead. Many described the incident as sounding like a bomb exploding and plumes of smoke could be seen from over 20 miles away. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown. Law enforcement is not letting anyone back into their homes just yet because the area is still considered to be unstable.
