Subway Partners with Meals on Wheels

‘Tis the season to give back and Subway is taking the phrase to heart. Subway partnered with Meals on Wheels and donated 250 boxed meals to senior citizens in Horry County. Meals on Wheels is a program that delivers food to people who find it difficult to leave their houses. It not only provides them with a healthy meal, but companionship as well. Subway’s efforts allowed the cause to save some money that they’ll be able to use at a later date. Nearly nine million seniors across the U.S.
face the threat of hunger and programs like Meals on Wheels make a huge difference for seniors who remain in their own homes and require companionship.
