Impeachment Vote Set to Take Place Later Today

After months of investigations and hearings, President Trump is set to become the third US president ever impeached. Democrats and republicans are right now debating if President Trump should be impeached. Seeing as the democrats hold the house majority, results are expected to fall along party lines. President Trump sent a scathing, six paged letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi yesterday in light of the news of his impending impeachment. In the letter, the president warned that democrats would be regretful come next fall and that history would judge them harshly for the decision. He also compared his impeachment to the Salem Witch Trials. Earlier this month, the president suggested in a tweet that the supreme court could halt the proceedings if they wished to step in. All Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had to say was “the president is not a lawyer.”
