One Person Killed After Attempted Robbery in Dillon

One person was killed during an attempted robbery that took place in Dillon last night. The incident occurred at a convenience store along highway 301. Police have not released much information other than it was an attempted robbery. It is still unclear how many other people were injured. Several witnesses watched as dozens of police cars surrounded the store and noted several bystanders looked very distraught. SLED agents were also at the scene. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
