Boris Johnson Wins UK Election in Landslide Vote

A landslide victory for Boris Johnson and his conservative party as they won the majority vote in the UK election yesterday. Conservatives secured 364 of the 650 seats in the house of parliament, well ahead of Johnson’s other political opponents. The Labor Party came in at 203 seats, Liberal Democrats at 11 seats, and the Scottish National Party scored 48 seats. Johnson ran on a platform based solely on “getting Brexit done” and has made very strong promises since his win to work tirelessly, day and night, to get Brexit done by January first. No “ifs, ands or buts”. He said “I…will never take your support for granted.”
