Horry Meetings This Week Will Discuss Delegating Budget

In lighter news, Horry County is predicted to have a busy week as they discuss the County’s budget. Proposals include allocation of funds of upwards of $30,000 to the county’s animal care center, $13,000 to the Beach Ball Classic, $1,000 to volunteers in Longs for the Christmas parade, and they’ll look at delegating funds to issues like storm water, beach re-nourishment and waste management. The council will also look over an ordinance aiming to extend its shuttle contract with Republic Parking. The meeting will start at 6 pm tomorrow night at the Horry County Government and Justice Center in Conway.
