Arizona Manhunt Over

A suspect in six killings in Arizona fatally shot himself at a Scottsdale hotel, ending a days-long manhunt.

Police say fifty-six year old Dwight Lamon Jones shot himself to death as officers closed in at a Scottsdale hotel. Jones is suspected in at least six killings in Arizona since Thursday. Authorities believe Jones targeted people associated with his 2009 divorce from his wife. Four victims were shot at office buildings in Scottsdale. The first was well-known forensic psychiatrist Steven Pitt, who evaluated Jones during the divorce. Two other victims, Veleria sharp and Laura Anderson, were paralegals who worked for the law firm that represented Jones’ wife during the divorce. Jones is also a suspect in the killing of Marshall Levine, a counselor and life coach. Police also believe Jones killed a man and woman whose bodies were found in a suburban phoenix home on Monday. Back in 2008, he was arrested on domestic violence charges.
