Company Unveils New Way To "Ride" On Airplanes

An Italian manufacturer is aiming to make those cramped airline seats a lot more comfortable…but there’s a catch.  Aviointeriors unveiled the ‘sky rider 2.0’ at the aircraft interiors expo 2018 in Hamburg, Germany.  The design will allow passengers to stretch their legs as much as they please.

The design also enables companies to add more people onto their planes, generating more revenue for airlines in the long run.  However, the state of the art seats are straight upright so you’ll feel like you’re standing up during the flight.  The company says the ‘saddle like’ seats will actually provide support for your back.  The new design will have to be certified by the FAA before airlines are free to purchase the seats.
