Hockey Team Tragedy

Families of the victims of a fatal bus crash in western Canada are seeing a tremendous outpouring of support.

Hundreds gathered Sunday in the small town of Humboldt, Saskatchewan for a vigil to honor the victims at the arena where the Humboldt Broncos call home. On Friday, a semi-truck slammed into the bus carrying the junior hockey team heading to a playoff game in northeastern Saskatchewan. A total of 29 passengers, including the driver, were on the bus during the violent crash. Among the deceased are the broncos team captain, the head coach and a radio announcer. Police say the truck driver was initially detained but has been released and provided with mental health assistance. The cause of the crash is still unknown but an investigation is underway.
