YouTube Shooter’s Motivation

Authorities are now investigating what led up to Tuesday's shooting at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California.

Police have been following the movement of alleged YouTube shooter, Nasim Aghdam, leading up to the attack on the video sharing site’s headquarters. Days before the shooting, Aghdam’s family reported her missing, and reportedly told police she had problems with the company and may be heading there. Mountain view police found the 39-year old sleeping in her car early Tuesday, not far from the building. During that 20 minute encounter, police determined she was not a threat to herself or others. The shooter later wounded three people before turning the gun on herself. Authorities believe Aghdam was upset with YouTube over their policies and practices and did not target her victims. They are now combing her social media accounts to try to further understand her motive.
