School Security Solutions

The student-led movement in the aftermath of last week's Florida school shooting appears to be gaining momentum.

With a number of school walkouts around the country, the movement to make schools safer, and revamp U.S. gun control is getting louder. President Trump spent yesterday listening with parents, hearing first hand stories of loss. The President talked about beefing up background checks, and introducing more security in schools. And a big backer of second amendment rights, Florida senator Marco Rubio, has said he is open to raising the minimum age to buy a rifle. But even if the President were to push something like that, there would be stiff opposition from groups like the National Rifle Association and the looming pressure from the midterm elections.
