Aide in a Mess

The President's Chief of Staff is facing a lot of heat following reports that a top administration aide has been accused of domestic violence.

President Trump wouldn’t answer questions about the domestic abuse allegations surrounding now former aide Rob Porter, but FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed that Porter’s background check -which included allegations from former wives- was completed weeks ago. The White House has said the process had been hung up in the the White House personnel security office. Confusion remains as to why Porter was allowed to remain in his post, and why the President hasn’t said more about it. Blame is already being placed on White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, seen as someone who was bringing order to the Trump White House.
