Carolina Panthers Make Changes To Scouting Department
The Carolina Panthers have made changes to the team’s scouting department, the team announced Monday.
Mark Koncz has been named Director of Player Personnel. Koncz enters his 23rd season in the NFL, all with the Panthers. He has served as the director of pro scouting since 2000. He joined the Panthers in 1994 and has worked in the scouting department since 1998.
Jeff Morrow has been named Director of College Scouting. Morrow is a veteran of 22 NFL seasons, including 19 with the Panthers. He most recently served as the team’s assistant director of college scouting since 2016. Morrow joined the Panthers in 1998 as an area scout following three years with National Football Scouting and 14 years as a college coach. He was elevated to national scout in 2001 and earned the title of National Scout/Senior College Scout in 2012.
Matt Allen is the team’s new director of pro personnel. Allen enters his eighth season with the Panthers. He worked as the team’s combine scout from 2010-12 before serving as a pro scout from 2013-16.
Don Gregory has been named Senior Executive Scout. Gregory has spent 20 seasons working in the NFL, including the previous 10 with the Panthers. He was the Panthers director of college scouting before serving as the director of player personnel in 2016.
Eli Montague has been named Area Scout. He worked as a college scouting assistant from 2011-13 before being promoted to BLESTO scout in 2014.
Jonathan Fields has been named pro scouting assistant after previously serving as the team’s college scouting assistant.
