Struggles in Syria

Explosions continue in Aleppo, despite a ceasefire deal made earlier this week.

A cautious peace in Aleppo, Syria  is still marred by explosions being heard, jeopardizing a ceasefire deal that was reached earlier this week. The Syrian government has declared victory and now has total control of the city. However, the U.S. and other foreign governments remain cautious in the ongoing fight against ISIS. Peaceful evacuations of rebels and displaced civilians are expected to continue in the war-torn region.
