‘Not my president’
Anti-Trump protests erupt across the country
(CNN) – Almost as soon as the presidential election was called early Wednesday morning, naming Donald Trump as president-elect, people took to the streets, protesting the results. And as the sun rose and then fell again, crowds have grown larger and larger, marching in over a dozen cities across the country.
In cities like Austin, Texas and Des Moines, Iowa, students walked out of classes in solidarity. In Chicago, marchers flooded the streets chanting. And in New York, demonstrators brought signs and jammed union square and gathered outside Trump Tower… hoping the president-elect was listening.
