Cubs Crack the Curse

The Chicago Cubs are World Series Champions.

Baseball history has been made in Cleveland, after a victory in extra innings by the Chicago Cubs over the Cleveland Indians. The Game 7 World Series win ends a title drought of 108 years for the Cubs. They lead throughout the game, but the Indians were able to come back and tie the game in the eighth inning. The Cubs took the lead in the tenth and finished the game with a two-out throw to first. The win is a treat for many Cubs fans, who never though they’d see the day their team would win the title. A victory parade is now being planned for as early as Friday.
