Pulse Phone Calls to be Released

A judge has ordered authorities to release audio recordings from the night of the Pulse nightclub massacre.

 

Nearly five months after the Pulse nightclub massacre, the gunman can now be heard in his own words. A Florida judge has ordered the city of Orlando to release 911 audio recordings of the gunman talking to dispatchers and negotiators. He said he blamed the United States’ airstrikes on Iran and Syria. Media groups called for the release of the tapes but The tape’s release has upset many family members of the victims. The massacre left 49 dead, including the gunman.
