Hillary Clinton will formally accept the Democratic nomination tonight, following last night's rousing speech from President Obama.
The build-up was boisterous, as speaker after speaker stood onstage in Philadelphia, a celebration culminating with remarks from the President of the United States. President Obama listed his accomplishments in office, making sure to outline Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s part in his administration. His glowing endorsement followed Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA)’s acceptance of the VP nomination, and more remarks from current VP Joe Biden. However, neither Biden nor Obama’s remarks were not without the occasional dig at GOP nominee Donald Trump. Clinton made a surprise appearance last night to thank the President for his support, and will formally accept her party’s nomination tonight.
