Dems Observe Decoration Day

The Democratic candidates made public appearances for Memorial Day.

Two of the three remaining major party presidential candidate took the holiday off from official campaign events. Sen. Bernie Sanders hosted rallies in California, hoping to make a strong push for the state’s plethora of delegates. Hillary Clinton  marched in a parade in her home state of New York, her attention still ahead to Donald Trump in the general election. Trump, the presumptive GOP nominee, is looking past rumors that several Republican insiders may try to push an independent candidate, but those chances are slimming each day.

The next major round of primaries will be June 6th.
