North Carolina's controversy over HB2 continues, with simultaneous rallies taking place at the State House.

The controversy over North Carolina’s HB-2 – the ‘bathroom bill’- is front and center with both sides speaking on the issue. Demonstrators for a and against the bill gathered outside the State Capitol on Monday. With lawmakers back in session, the state is already facing a lawsuit, and opponents feel things will get dark for North Carolina if there’s not a full repeal. Supporters of the law believe the legislation will protect women and children from sexual predators while detractors say the bill is a form of hatred and discrimination against the LGBT community.
