Primary Day in New York

The Empire State will finally get a voice today in deciding the Presidential party nominees.

New Yorkers will head to the polls today for the primary, with Democrats and Republicans both fighting over the party nomination. GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is expected to win his home state after Sen. Ted Cruz made comments about “New York values” during a debate last year. Trump is gunning for delegates to avoid a contested national convention. The Democratic race between Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders is tightening following Sanders’ string of five state wins and the Vermont senator’s constant questioning Clinton’s ties to Wall Street.

After tonight, five states along the East Coast will be next to  hit the polls on April 26th.
