Sources Say Josh Norman Will Skip Voluntary Workouts
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Sources say that Josh Norman will not attend voluntary offseason workouts next week when the Panthers start their team exercises.
Norman is looking for a long-term contract with Carolina. Apparently the Panthers and Norman are not close to an agreement on the terms of a contract. The team placed the franchise tag on the cornerback in March, but Norman has yet to sign the deal that would pay him almost $14 million for the 2016 season.
Technically Norman is not under contract until he signs the franchise deal, so he is not obligated to attend the work outs.
