Start Me Up (In Cuba)

The Rolling Stones will give a free concert in Cuba today.

The new Cuban open diplomacy will be christened “Rock-plomacy” today as the Rolling Stones take the stage in Cuba.  The free concert is an unofficial follow-up to President Barack Obama’s visit earlier in the week. Western rock ‘n’ roll was previously banned under Fidel Castro’s regime, and this will be the band’s first trip to the island nation. Attendance is expected to be in the hundreds of thousands.
