It will feature 32 panels from the more than 48,000 panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. The NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt was first created in 1987, to serve “as a memorial for those who have died of AIDS, and to thereby help people understand the devastating impact of the disease.” Go to aidsquilt.org to find out how to make a panel. Careteam+ will be receiving locally made panels until December 1st and will ship them to Atlanta to become a permanent part of the quilt.
