Knit A Hat in Olanta

The Dr. John M. Thomason Public Library will host a special knitting circle on Thursday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m. What a great time of year to make a charming hat! At this session, participants will learn how to cast on, knit, decrease, and sew the top of their new creation together. Participants will need size #8 circular (16” round) needles and 130 yards of worsted weight yarn (#4 yarn). Choose your colors: contrasting, variegated, or a single color. The program is free; all ages are welcome. Beginners should register either by calling 843-396-4287 or visiting the library.
