Florence Veterans Day Ceremony

Tuesday, November 11, 2014, 11:00 AM. The Florence Veterans Day Ceremony will honor current/former service men and women and their families. This year, 36 area Veterans will be added to the Wall of Honor. Two new monuments, one to the US Navy, and one to the US Coast Guard, will be dedicated. The Speaker will be retired US Navy Captain Eugene Paluso, a former SEAL, and the new Commandant of Cadets at The Citadel. Special guest will be Pee Dee native and retired USN Commander Al Agnew, the last POW released by North Vietnam.
