Horry County Housing Fair

The Horry County Housing Fair will feature multiple workshops on fair housing, personal finance and budget, down payment assistance, heirs property resolution, quiet title, truth in lending and finding the right realtor. The fair will also feature multiple exhibitors to include area non-profits, local governments and lending institutions to provide attendees with a wealth of information on housing programs, financing, and rental and homeownership options. To-date, the following exhibitors will include the South Carolina Housing Authority, the Grand Strand Housing Authority, Myrtle Beach Housing Authority, Habitat for Humanity, the Homeownership Resource Center, South Carolina Legal Services, A Father’s Place, Wells Fargo and the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors. The featured workshops and exhibits are designed to educate attendees about location options, being prepared for buying or renting and more.” Staff from the Horry County Planning and Zoning Department and the Horry County Community Development Block Grant Office will be on hand to assist attendees and help answer any questions.
