Bills cut DT Ross; sign Roberson to practice squad
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have released backup defensive tackle Jay Ross, and signed receiver Cordell Roberson to their practice squad. This is the second time the Bills have cut Ross this season. He was released on Sept. 10 before being re-signed a week later and has appeared in the past five games. Roberson is an undrafted rookie free agent out of Stephen F. Austin University, where he set school career records with 221 catches, 3,191 yards receiving and 39 touchdowns. He spent part of this season on the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad before he was cut on Oct. 8. The Bills (3-5) host Kansas City (8-0) on Sunday. ___ AP NFL website www.pro32.ap.org
