CHARLOTTE,NC–Nascar drivers were taking some time away from the busy race week at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Matt Kenseth and Brian Vickers stopped by Ashley Park Elementary school to read their favorite childhood books.
The drivers read “Go, Dog, Go” and “The Little Engine That Could” to the children as part of the Reading Puts You On The Track To Victory program.
Kenseth and Vickers car sponsor Dollar General is providing over $70,000 in grants to Charlotte area elementary schools.
