Be a Santa to a Senior holiday gift wrapping event

Please join Santa and Mrs. Claus along with community volunteers as they wrap hundreds of holiday gifts collected for area seniors in need. Everyone is invited! There will also be a children’s area to make handmade Christmas cards to go along with each gift. The gifts were collected through Home Instead Senior Care’s Be a Santa to a Senior program, which is supported locally by several nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult day cares and area churches, as well as Waccamaw Hospital, Inlet Square Mall, Woodman of the World, Newcomers Club, Fifty’s Plus’s Group, Linksbrook Subdivision, Delta Alpha Beta Sigma Phi, and Horry county 911. Volunteers will deliver the gifts to area seniors who otherwise might be overlooked this holiday season.
