McGee, Spencer
Spencer Landon McGee, 8 years old, passed away Monday, July 4th, 2011. Spencer was born in Florence on November 8th, 2002. He was a son of Johnny E. McGee and Stacey Bellflower McGee. Spencer was a bright and friendly second grade student at J.C. Lynch Elementary. He was a member of the Talented and Gifted Program and Motocross Dirt Bikes, and loved to play the drums. Spencer was an active fun-loving kid whose sweet personality touched those around him. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Spencer‘s surviving family includes his father and mother, Johnny E. McGee and Stacy B. McGee, of the home; his three brothers, Cody Reace Chandler, of Lake City, Johnathan Clarence McGee, and Bennett Eugene McGee, both of Coward; his paternal grandparents, Freddie McGee and Ethlene McGee, of Coward; his paternal grandmother, Patricia Hubbard (Emanuel), of Coward; his maternal great-grandmother, Dessie Mae Bellflower, of Lake City, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Spencer‘s family will have visitation from six until nine o‘clock p .m., Wednesday, July 6th, 2011 in the Beulah Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services for Spencer will be held at eleven o‘clock a.m., Thursday, July 7th, 2011 in Beulah Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow the funeral services in Broad Cemetery on Salem Road in Coward. Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City, is in charge.
