Locklear, Glenn William
Glenn William Locklear, age 52 of Wallace, South Carolina passed away to his eternal home on Monday, June 20, 2011. Glenn was born August 2, 1958 in Scotland County, son to the late Enos Locklear and Thelma Robinson Locklear. He had many years of dedicated services as an employee with the City of Cheraw. He loved being a member of the True Gospel Emanuel Holiness Church. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Washington Redskin fan and especially loved helping others. Glenn will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Glenn was also preceded in death by siblings, Geraldine Locklear, Ronald Locklear and Steve Locklear. Surviving are his wife, Eunice L. Locklear of their home in Wallace, SC; son, Christopher “Chris” Glen Peele and wife Kayla of Lumberton, NC; daughters, Jennifer Peele of Laurinburg, NC, Jessica D. Locklear of the home; brother, J.D. Locklear of Rockingham, NC; sisters, Annie Lee Thompson and Jean Locklear both of Laurinburg, NC; his grandchildren, Nicholas Norton, Kaileigh Howard and Luke Howard; mother-in-law, Mozelle Locklear of Cheraw, SC, and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23rd at Richard Boles Funeral Service. The family request that memorial donations be made in memory of Glenn to the True Gospel Emanuel Holiness Church, 2539 Grants Mill Road, Wallace, SC 29596 Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2011 at the True Gospel Emanuel Holiness Church in Wallace, officiated by Pastor Thomas Guinn and Pastor Mike Williams. Burial will follow the service at White‘s Creek Church Cemetery.
