Mack, Lee Manuel

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, for those who love – time is eternity. Your son, Billy Mr. Lee Manuel Mack, Sr., a son of the late Lewis and Lottie Williams Mack was born in Florence County on March 14, 1934. On Sunday, June 19, 2011, he departed this life at his residence. He attended the public schools of Florence County. He was employed with Merita Bakery as a supervisor for forty-one years where he was recognized for his loyalty, diligence and conscientious service. He loved his job and was most of all – a team player. He was also a brick mason and a plasterer. At an early age, he joined Wesley United Methodist Church where he received his religious training and confirmed his belief and trust in God throughout the years. Later he met the love of his life, Deborah Mumford and they were married on May 24, 1998. “Mack”, as he was called, loved his family and friends and was willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Left to share his legacy and cherish his memories are: his wife, Mrs. Deborah Mack of Effingham, SC; daughters, Ms. Josey Jones and Mrs. Tonya Anderson, both of Florence, SC; sons, Mr. Frank (Cathy) Charles of Quinby, SC; Mr. Lee Manuel Billy Mack, Jr. of Pasadena, TX; Mr. Otis L.
